Job
Summary:
The Respiratory Therapists are a part of the Cardiopulmonary Department team that support the entire hospital. The RRT demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of anatomy, general medical conditions, and appropriate interventions.
You will perform routine and critical care respiratory therapeutic procedures and cardiology procedures.
You must act as a resource person regarding current practices in respiratory care.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing respiratory related competency checks.
Demonstrating knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served is core to your role.

Our 115-bed hospital offers complete medical care for adults and children, including emergency, surgical, maternity, imaging, cardiology, neurology, orthopedic, physical medicine, sleep medicine and oncology services. Our medical staff of about 500 physicians includes more than 45 specialties. Many of our physicians have offices on or near the hospital campus. Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Completed NBRC certification as RRT
Current TN RRT Licensure - ABG Endorsed
Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification upon hire
Current ACLS certification or acquired within six months of hire
Current PALS certification or acquired within six months of hire
Current NRP certification or acquired within six months of hire
PC, communication, and math skills
