PAINTING WORKER (TITLE 32)

As Painting Worker, WG-4102-08, you will prepare surfaces (i.e., metal, wood and glass) by removing rust, paint, and loose particles. Prepare coating materials by tinting, toning, etching, blending, and mixing in various additives (i.e., retardants, hardeners, drying agents, and other additives). Read and interpret directions that relate to mixture, use, and application of various kinds of coating materials, solvents, and precoating agents. Apply Chemical Agent Reactive Coating (CARC) materials in accordance with specifications and dimensions. Perform other duties as assigned. Military Grades:

Experience:
Experience or training which demonstrates the candidate's knowledge of surface preparation (removal of rust, dirt, paint, etc); coating methods (brushing, rolling, and spraying); and coating materials (paints, varnishes, shellacs, etc). Must have the ability to use tools and equipment associated with the painting trade and to read and interpret directions. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
12 months of experience or training which demonstrates the candidate's knowledge of standard surface preparation and coating methods and techniques. Experience must demonstrate the skill to sand, wire brush, scrape, spackle, putty, prep surfaces and select appropriate tools to complete assigned tasks. Experience must also demonstrate the skill to brush on, roll on, and spray coating materials, and apply other related methods and techniques, such as cutting-in techniques and dip and overflow methods. Experience which required the applicant to interpret and follow technical orders, specifications and publications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
