As a Power Washer Operator, you will be responsible for operating power washing equipment to clean a variety of surfaces such as building exteriors, sidewalks, parking lots, and machinery.
Your primary duties will include preparing surfaces for cleaning, selecting appropriate cleaning solutions, operating power washing equipment safely and efficiently, and ensuring thorough cleaning of designated areas.
Key
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for cleaning by removing debris, securing loose items, and applying appropriate cleaning solutions.
Operate power washing equipment including pressure washers, hoses, and related machinery according to safety protocols and manufacturer instructions.
Select and apply suitable cleaning agents and detergents to effectively remove dirt, grime, mold, and other contaminants.
Safely maneuver equipment and adjust pressure settings to achieve optimal cleaning results without causing damage to surfaces.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of power washing equipment by performing regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and conducting routine maintenance tasks.
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries during power washing operations.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate work schedules, prioritize tasks, and address any concerns or issues.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including areas cleaned, cleaning solutions used, and any problems encountered.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations by properly disposing of wastewater and hazardous materials in accordance with local regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating power washing equipment preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and safety procedures.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
