Scope:
The Assistant / Receptionist provides administrative support while maintaining and protecting all company, supplier, and customer proprietary and confidential information.
Essential Functions:
Receive all incoming phone calls for Ideal-Tridon.
Greet and direct visitors at Smyrna location.
Mail all invoices and statements for Smyrna Credit Department.
Sort and key information from travel cards for Quality Department.
Distribute incoming mail each day.
Back up for mail clerk (daily outgoing mail and FedEx shipments).
Records Maintenance Task Reports, daily.
Maintains and distributes phone extension list.
When necessary may perform other typical duties.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
Accurate touch-type keyboarding skill experience.
Good phone voice.
Neat appearance.
Physical Requirements:
Has the ability and physical dexterity to utilize computer equipment and phone equipment.
May sit or stand for extended periods of time and lift light to moderate weight.
Position also requires some standing, walking, stooping and bending.
Maintain regular attendance and work required overtime.
Communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
